DirectionsOn foot: New Rivers is conveniently located in Downtown Providence between North Main and Canal Streets at the foot of College Hill, near Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. Just steps from the Riverwalk, New Rivers is a 10-minute walk from the Westin, Biltmore, and Marriott Courtyard Hotels and the Rhode Island Convention Center. By car: From I-95 NORTH take Exit 22a to Memorial Boulevard. Turn left onto Washington Place, crossing the bridge. Turn left onto Main Street, which crosses Steeple Street. For parking immediately behind the restaurant, continue on Main Street one block and turn left onto Elizabeth Street. From I-95 SOUTH take Exit 22 to Memorial Boulevard. Turn left onto Washington Place, crossing the bridge. Turn left onto Main Street, which crosses Steeple Street.
